Black Thought has recently freestyled and gave interview to Sway via Instagram Live, where the frontman of The Roots revealed that back in 2002, him, Eminem, Nas and Jay Z wanted to do a cypher but whatever reason it didn’t happen.

Jay Z was rocking with the The Roots, that’s why we did Unplugged joint. The reason we did this was him and I, maybe Eminem and maybe Nas were supposed to the cypher-freestyle so whatever reason, he changed the performance.” says Back Thought. Watch it below:
