In the latest episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, James Corden feels compelled to compliment Martin Freeman for his unwavering strong fashion sense, and the two explain the terms mod and ragamuffin to Pete Holmes.
Later on, Martin admits that he went through a phase in his youth where his threads reflected the rap music he was obsessed with, and how Eminem may have nicked a trend or two:
“In the early 90s, I was wearing big baggy jeans, a massive jeans, bleached hair. I looked like a ping-pong ball. And this is before Eminem. I’m not saying Eminem copied me but he might have.” says Martin.
On that, Pete Holmes replied: “We have our click-bait, Martin Freeman says Eminem stole his style. You are getting a diss-track dude.”
But looks like Martin would be happy if Eminem disses him as he replied: “Oh, I’ll be delighted. My son lives for Eminem, that would be a best day of my life.”
