IT’S OFFICIAL: Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” was the Top Social Moment from the Oscars 2020

Eminem’s made a surprise appearance at the Oscars 2020 which completed a segment on music in movies and went viral on social media. “Lose Yourself” is of course, intrinsically linked with the 2002 film 8 Mile, and its took the Oscar for best original song back in 2003, the first hip-hop single to do so.

Eminem’s performance was the top trending moment from the 92nd Academy Awards, according to data reported by Facebook, generating more buzz than Joaquin Phoenix’s acceptance speech for taking out best actor for Joker and South Korean dark comedy Parasite winning best picture.
