Swae Lee responds Eminem’s “Premonition” reference on Twitter

In the song “Premonition” from his Music To Be Murdered By album, Eminem references Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee with the following lines: “Fans keep on pulling me one way. Haters pull me in another.  Got more hooks in me than Swae Lee.

“Got more hooks in me” comes from the saying “get your hooks in someone,” meaning to keep someone in a bad situation. This also ties to the previous line, as Eminem is metaphorically being “hooked” by his fans and haters and pulled in two different directions with his music.

Swae responded on Twitter, saying he got lots of hooks and Eminem is a legend. Check them below:
