Yelawolf has just received two platinum certifications for his two singles: “Best Friend,” featuring Eminem and “Till It’s Gone,” both from Love Story album, released back in 2015 under Shady Records. This means each singles has now sold more than 1 million unites in the United States.
These are first ever platinum certifications for Catfish Billy. Aside platinum plaques, Yelawolf also holds four gold plaques for “Love Story” album, “Daddy’s Lambo” single, “Let’s Roll” single featuring Kid Rock and “Shady XV” compilation album.
“I just found out today that “Till It’s Gone” and “Best Friend” from Love Story album are now both certified platinum!!! It doesn’t even seem real… but I love you and thank you all for it.” said Yelawolf on his Instagram.
