Highest certified rappers in RIAA history

Cardi B’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” has just been certified 9x-Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It marks highest certified single by a female rapper. “Bodak Yellow” is on pace to make Cardi B the first solo female rapper to earn a Diamond Single Award (10x-Platinum) from the RIAA. 

To give you some close look of Cardi’s achievements, we have made the list of highest certified rappers in the history of RIAA and you can check all the lists below: 

Most Certified Albums (Units Sold)

1. Eminem – 46 million; 

2. Tupac – 36.5 million; 

3. Jay Z – 27.5 million; 

4. Kid Rock – 23.5 million. 

Most Certified Singles (Units Sold)

1. Drake – 154 million; 

2. Eminem – 107.5 million; 

3. Kanye West – 69 million; 

4. Post Malone – 51 million; 

5. Flo Rida – 49.5 million; 

6. Kendrick Lamar – 41 million; 

7. Lil Wayne – 33 million; 

8. Cardi B – 32.5 million.  

Most Diamond Certified (Albums & Singles) 

1. Eminem – 5 (Three for singles: “Love The Way You Lie,” “Not Afraid” and “Lose Yourself” and two for albums: The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show); 

2. Tupac – 2 (Both for albums:  Greatest Hits and All Eyez On Me);

3. Drake – 2 (Both for singles: “God’s Plan” and “Hotline Bling” but it’s not officially announced by RIAA yet).
