Eminem & Beyonce’s “Walk On Water” goes platinum in US

Eminem’s “Wak On Water,” featuring Beyonce, the first single off Revival album, is now eligible for platinum certification in the United States, meaning, the single has now sold 1 million single equivalent units in the country.

After its release, “Walk on Water” debuted and peaked at #14 on Billboard Hot 100, becoming the 57th entry for both artists on the chart. As a result, they tied with Madonna and The Rolling Stones for the 19th highest amount of overall songs to enter the chart.

It also arrived at #2 on the Digital Songs chart with 64,000 downloads and the Streaming Songs chart at number 15 with 18.3 million streams. Currently, the video and audio has 121 million views on YouTube.

This is the second platinum certification for “Walk On Water.” The first one comes from Canada, where the song has sold 100,000 single equivalent units.
