Boogie gives interview & freestyles over Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me” with Sway

Shady Records’ Boogie has recently set down with Sway In The Morning to promote his much anticipated album Everything’s For Sale, releasing on 25th of January. Besides giving the interview, Boogie also spits some bars over Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me.”

“I never leave the studio. I ain’t got nothing else to do. I just be in the studio or with my kid playing basketball.”

“I hate Deja Vu song. But it’s not only Deja Vu. I got a problem with hating all my old songs. I just feel like I’d be so much better in the next song so this one is trash.”

“This year I will be focused of my financial state more cause I can’t watch my kid broke as I was.”

At 25:00 Boogie starts freestyling over Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me,” off his 2012 hip-hop classic Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. In the freestyle, Boogie raps: “Shout out to Kendrick, that’s my idol, I feel like ‘Watch The Throne’ ni**a… I stopped depression and that s**t got me to Shady and just imagine if I stop being lazy.”
