MTV announced the nominations for the 2020 Video Music Awards on Thursday (July 30). The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards 2020 will air on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 8:00 p.m. ET, live from Radio City Music Hall. Eminem is nominated in two categories: “Video of the Year” and “Best Hip-Hop Song.”
This makes Eminem the first artist to amass eight career nominations for video of the year which includes one nod he received as a member of D12. Eminem has won twice in the category.
In all of VMAs history, only three other artists have made the finals the year after winning — Eminem (who did it twice), Britney Spears and Beyoncé. Check Eminem nominations below:
