Eminem’s “MTBMB” remains Spotify’s biggest first week debut of 2020 worldwide

Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake album sold 311,ooo album equivalent units in its first week in the United States which was enough to dethrone Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By (279,000) and become the fastest selling hip-hop artist of 2020. But these numbers are only from United States. As of now, Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By most selling rap album worldwide with more than 1 million units sold. 

It also should be noted that out of Uzi’s 311,ooo units only 11,000 comes in pure sales while Eminem’s pure sales equaled 146,000. 

Uzi might have taken the lead in total album equivalent units but Eminem still remains on top of Spotify’s fastest streaming hip-hop artist of 2020 list (Fastest Streaming = 1st week totals streams worldwide). Check the Top 5 below:

1. Eminem — “Music To Be Murdered By” — 229 million streams.

2. Lil Uzi Vert – “Eternal Atake” – 210 million streams.

3. Mac Miller – “Circles” – 118 million streams.

4. A Boogie wit da Hoodie – “Artist 2.0” – 66 million streams.

5. Lil Baby – “My Turn” – 62 million streams.

Also, Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By is second most streamed in all genres. Only Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG is ahead with 337 million streams.
