Until today, Eminem was the only male artist and one of the two artists in history to have three diamond certified singles (the other is Kate Perry). “Love The Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna, “Not Afraid” and “Lose Yourself” each shifted at least 10 million units in the United States between pure sales and equivalent copies compiled from streams.
Ed Sheeran’s single “Perfect” was just certified diamond by the RIAA and became the third musician in U.S. history to earn three diamond singles. He joins Eminem and Katy Perry in this distinction. His previous diamond certified songs include “Thinking Out Loud” and “Shape of You”.
