Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” breaks Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” Billboard record

Lil Nas X and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Old Town Road” breaks one of Billboard records set by Eminem 17 years ago. “Old Town Road” is now 13th week at #1 on Hot 100 charts, breaking “Lose Yourself”‘s record of 12 weeks for Hip-Hop/Rap songs.

In the United States, “Lose Yourself” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart the week of October 5, 2002, at No. 43. A week later, the single jumped to No. 18, and hit No. 1 on the week of November 9 and remained there for 12 weeks.
