New Interview: D12 Talks Eminem’s Frustration Over “Infinite” Criticism & Working With Dr. Dre

D12 has been with Eminem since the beginning of his career, they spoke about it during an exclusive interview with VladTV. The Detroit emcees shared stories about being in the studio while Eminem recorded his first project, “Infinite,” and Kuniva spoke specifically about working on a track, “Open Mic.”

“To me, that’s what he sounded like, at first. That was the pinnacle of him being polite and cool. Em was really a straight up cool cat, but the frustration came out when he started getting the criticism about the Infinite s**t, like, ‘It’s kind of soft. You sound like this person/that person.’” – Kuniva

“Basically the whole thing of D12 is that everybody has an alter ego, so try to be the villain, a person completely different from who you are. That’s when he took the name Slim Shady.” – Bizarre
