Joell Ortiz Explains Eminem Reference On “Microphone Preem”

Remy Gelenidze

Slaughterhouse’s Joell Ortiz has recently annotated his lyrics of Microphone Preem‘s verse on Genius where he shouted out Eminem. The lines are as following:

“Meet fire, street fighters when these pens writing,
Shady, you go through us to get to Em, Biison”

Joell explains:

“That was just a clever play on “Street Fighter,” basically saying that all four of us are warriors in the game and willing to fight whoever to defend our kingdom. Eminem being M. Bison, the last dude you’d have to fight if you got through us, which wouldn’t happen! Lol.”

And gives us the link of the game:

PRhyme will be performing in NYC at the Gramercy Theatre on Oct. 13. Tickets are on sale HERE.
