New Interview, Redman: “I rank Eminem with Biggie and Nas”

Remy Gelenidze

Artists such as Ludacris and Eminem call Redman a favorite, and Em even went as far as to mention him on his “Till I Collapse” track back in 2002: “I got a list, here’s the order of my list that it’s in. It goes Reggie (Redman), Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie, Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me.”

In a new interview with VLADTV, Redman stated that he undoubtedly feels the same way towards the Em:

Interviewer: “Eminem had this ‘Till I Collapse’ thing right ? And you’ve been ranked above Jay Z, 2pac and Biggie, so how was your reaction to that?”

Redman: “I don’t know It was…I respect Eminem, I highly respect Eminem, like even when he first came out we did a record…It just shows me that, you know, I did my job…I appreciate Eminem for even ranking me to that level because I highly respect Jay, Biggie and Nas..I say Eminem is in that realm too. I rank him up there with Jay Z, Biggie and Nas. I say that in all the major interviews. So for me him to feel the same is just a level of respect that we both did our thing in the game and we take this hip hop culture serious.. That’s living proof right there, big up to Eminem”
